CVOEO’s Fair Housing Project is excited to announce our newest initiative, the Striving for Equity Project.
This is a horrible situation for us as an organization, a humiliating one for the people we are serving, and ultimately an intolerable one for us as a society.
The recent assault we see on LGBTQ+ rights around the country will only compound the tragedy of poverty and homelessness in the United States.
Each April we celebrate the 1968 passage of the Fair Housing Act with a series of free public education and art events to raise awareness about the importance of equal access to housing, free from discrimination, and the positive role that inclusive, affordable housing plays in thriving communities.
