Donate with your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)
Making a gift to CVOEO with your donor-advised fund (DAF) is easy! A DAF is a charitable savings account where you contribute funds for an immediate tax deduction, and then you can recommend grants directly to CVOEO and other qualified organizations whenever you choose. As a 501(c)(3) organization, CVOEO and our programs are eligible to receive distributions from most donor-advised funds.
You can also create a lasting legacy by naming CVOEO as the beneficiary of the entire account or a percentage of the fund. Contact your fund administrator for a beneficiary form.
CVOEO’s tax-identification number (EIN) is 03-0216837. Our mailing address is: CVOEO, Attn: Philanthropy, P.O. Box 1265, Burlington, VT 05402.

When you contribute cash, securities, or other assets to a donor-advised fund you are generally eligible to take an immediate tax deduction. Those funds can then be invested for tax-free growth, and you can recommend grants to any eligible IRS-qualified public charity (like CVOEO).
You can request a grant distribution through your donor-advised fund sponsor. Be sure to use CVOEO’s EIN # 03-0216837 and indicate whether your gift is for our general fund or a specific program. See the full list of CVOEO’s programs.
