From the Desk of Paul Dragon, 10/1/26
At CVOEO, we believe in collaboration and transparency. That’s why every week Executive Director Paul Dragon shares a roundup of updates and initiatives to keep everyone, from our 300+ team members to the broader community we serve, informed and connected. Here’s what’s new this week!
Voices Against Violence and the Lullaby Project
The Vermont Network partners with Voices Against Violence and other advocates to deliver the Healing Together Lullaby Project — a creative, survivor?centered initiative that pairs families, survivors, and community members with artists to write and share original lullabies, fostering healing, connection, and advocacy against domestic and sexual violence
The Lullaby Project is a Carnegie Hall Weill Music Institute initiative that pairs parents and caregivers with professional artists to create personal lullabies, supporting maternal health, child development, and parent?child bonds
In Vermont, the Healing Together Project adapts this model to include survivors, advocates, and those with close relationships to children. Past seasons have worked with women in the community, women in correctional facilities, queer youth and families, and other marginalized groups.
