- About Us
Through a variety of programs, CVOEO provides individuals and families with the basic needs of food, fuel and housing support in times of crisis, and helps them acquire the necessary education, financial skills and assets to build a stable future in which they thrive.
Chittenden Coordinated Entry
Chittenden Coordinated Entry's goal is to help those experiencing homelessness (or at imminent risk of homelessness) in Chittenden County find permanent housing and get connected to support and resources.
The CVOEO Community Action programs offer a variety of services to help meet basic needs.
Community Outreach & Resource Advocacy (CORA)
The CORA Team connects clients to case management, provides interim case management, supports people in the midst of mental health crises, helps people access warm shelter, and brings food and other essential items directly to people.
Community Resource Center
The Community Resource Center is a daytime warming and resource center in Burlington providing services to people experiencing homelessness.
Feeding Chittenden, one of CVOEO's three food services programs, works to alleviate hunger by feeding people and cultivating opportunities. As the largest direct service emergency food provider in Vermont, Feeding Chittenden serves over 12,000 people each year.
Financial Futures Programs
We offer financial skill building to residents of Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties. If your priority is learning more about money management, building your financial stability, or increasing household assets, Financial Futures can help!
Statewide Housing Advocacy Programs
CVOEO's Housing Advocacy Programs (HAP) provide education, support, advocacy, technical assistance, and referrals for people and organizations throughout Vermont with the understanding that housing is a basic human right and that everyone deserves equitable access to securing and maintaining a home, free from discrimination.
