CVOEO’s Samantha West receives State of Vermont Award
Congratulations to Samantha West, who received Vermont’s State Weatherization Program Bob Neumeyer Award. This statewide recognition honors individuals who exemplify the qualities that make weatherization successful, including teamwork, professionalism, respect for colleagues, and dedication to the Vermonters served by the program We can all celebrate Samantha’s years of excellence, service, and professionalism in working with Vermonters in need. Her dedication reflects the very best of our mission and our commitment to supporting communities across Vermont. You are awesome Sam!
CVOEO arts, culture, and community connection
On Wednesday, community members gathered at the Saint Albans Museum for A Mural Takes Shape: Community Preview and Conversation, the first public gathering for the Sheldon Food Distribution Center public art project. Participants shared stories and memories about the region’s food systems, from milk cans and the “butter train” to home canning, harvest seasons, rivers, railroads, and the movement of food across generations. These ideas will help shape the artwork as it develops over the coming year. Thank you to Corrine and the entire team for helping bring this meaningful community conversation forward.
