Fair Housing is the right to equal opportunity in housing choice and the right to rent, buy, finance, and live in a home free from discrimination or harassment. The Fair Housing Project provides consultations, referrals, education, and advocacy for the general public, housing and service providers, and municipal officials.

CVOEO Community Action programs provide financial assistance to stabilize rental housing and housing case management/navigation services for eligible individuals and families.

Vermont's Office of Economic Opportunity and CVOEO are providing a new rapid re-housing voucher to families experiencing homelessness.

Statewide hotlines serve renters, mobile home residents, and anyone experiencing discrimination in housing.

Resident organizing, housing counseling, and support services to help mobile home park residents achieve greater control over their housing and protect and improve their housing rights and living conditions.

Free Workshops for Renters provide participants the skills, materials, and confidence to find and maintain stable housing. Workshops are offered in person, as live webinars, and in self-paced, online classes. Interpreted sessions available on request.
