South Champlain Street Block Party

Join your neighbors for the 2nd Annual South Champlain Street Block Party!

WHEN:  1-4pm Sunday, July 19
WHERE: Southernmost block of South Champlain St.

We're closing down the southernmost block of South Champlain Street for fun yard games, tie dye activities with King Street Laundry/Community Wash & Learn, a pop-up bike park for kids with Burlington Bike Park Coalition, and DJ Melo Grant will be spinning tunes all afternoon. Local organizations will have info tables and there will be lots of free food, including burgers (meat & veggie), hotdogs, and summer salads by Pasta Mia sponsored by Burlington Housing Authority, ice cream, watermelon, and more.

All Wharf Lane, Bobbin Mill, and Decker Towers residents, along with everyone else who lives and/or works in the neighborhood, are invited to this FREE event.

The South Champlain Street Block Party is a partnership of CVOEO, Mercy Connections, Seven Days, Burlington Housing Authority, King Street Laundry/Community Wash & Learn, Ward 3 Neighborhood Planning Assembly, Feeding Champlain Valley, CHT, Carshare VT, BRAVE (Burlington Resident Advocacy & Voter Education), and others.
