“Thank you, thank you, thank you.  You do not know how much it meant to me to be able to talk to someone who was so kind and understanding.  Since my husband passed it has been difficult to cover all the bills, and I am so grateful for your help”

- 79 year old client

Since its inception in 1986, WARMTH has assisted approximately 80,000 families facing heating emergencies in the middle of Vermont’s cold winter. An additional 43,000 households have received essential information and counseling to help them avoid heating crises.

Thank you to the concerned Vermonters whose generous donations makes this program possible, as well as the following participating utilities: Burlington Electric, Vermont Electric Co-operative, Green Mountain Power, Hardwick Electric Department, Lyndonville Electric Dept., Northfield Electric Dept., Energy Co-Op of Vermont, Vermont Gas, and Washington Electric Co-Op. In its 26-year history, utility customers with funds matched by utility companies, have provided more than $3,240,000 for this vital program.
