Addison Food Shelf
Addison Community Action Food Shelf, CVOEO's food shelf located in Middlebury, served hundreds of people as a key component of Addison Community Action.
Staff at Addison Community Action Food Shelf collaborated with CVOEO’s Feeding Chittenden and core partners to launch the Food Access Network to increase food access by utilizing an online ordering system, food deliveries, and food access sites. Guided by a shared vision to alleviate food insecurity in the Champlain Valley, Addison Community Action Food Shelf, Feeding Chittenden, and NorthWest Family Foods, offer fresh local produce and bread, canned and dry goods, toiletries, and more, all year round.
