2025 Vermont Civil Rights Summit

CVOEO is excited be a part of the Human Rights Commission’s 2025 Civil Rights Summit in November! 

CVOEO's Housing Advocacy Program team members will be joining other civil rights advocates and community leaders to talk about strategies and policy changes that can happen at the state level to safeguard our rights. From November 14-16, 2025, the Vermont Human Rights Commission (HRC) will bring together panelists for the 2025 Civil Rights Conference, including the Vermont ACLU, Migrant Justice, End Homelessness VT, Vermont Legal Aid, the Vermont Asylum Assistance Project, the NAACP, FreeHer, the Education Justice Coalition, Disability Rights Vermont, Outright Vermont, and more! CVOEO will co-present an interactive session on civil rights and housing on Saturday morning and is co-hosting the Friday evening reception.

The summit will be a free and hybrid event. We’d love to see you there!
