13th Annual Trotting of the Turkeys

Welcome to the 13th Annual Trotting of the Turkeys page to benefit Feeding Champlain Valley brought to you by Morgan Stanley.

When: Saturday, November 7th, 2026, at 10:00 am
Where: University of Vermont's Patrick Gym, 97 Spear St, Burlington, Vermont

The event will be at the Patrick Gym and we will be joined by the UVM Pep Band, Dance Team, and athletes who will lead us on this 10-15 minute parade to Virtue Field. 

"What do you call a running turkey?" "Fast food."

Join us in supporting Feeding Champlain Valley to make sure that EVERY NEIGHBOR has what they need for Thanksgiving Dinner. This will kick-off the “Holidays without Hunger” campaign. Your donation of $100 will provide 3 Thanksgiving Dinner meals. Donations at any level are welcomed.

A special thank you to our Trotting of the Turkeys event organizer, Steve Gentile, for donating $2,000 to kick off this important fundraiser to support hungry Vermonters!

**When you submit your donation, please indicate whether you will be attending the event in person. **The $500 or $250-team, $100-family or $50-individual registration donation covers the cost of the turkey and provides the needed support for food insecure neighbors in our community. Donations at any level are also welcomed. Thank you for helping to feed our community!
