Fair Housing Training for Landlords
This online, self-paced training is open to all landlords and required for VHIP 2.0 participants.
To help landlords better understand their responsibilities under federal and state anti-discrimination laws, CVOEO has partnered with the state Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) to provide this training. The self-paced, online Fair Housing training includes an overview of state and federal requirements, examples of illegal housing discrimination and potential penalties, access requirements for people with disabilities, including reasonable accommodations and reasonable modifications, and best practices for housing providers.
This training is required for VHIP participants and will be confirmed through completion of a short quiz.
