Community Engagement
Anna McMahon, the Feeding Champlain Valley Associate Director, participated in a panel discussion at Middlebury College for Environmental Studies students completing their community?engaged practicum. The session provided complementary perspectives on the course theme: Environmental Health Disparities and Climate Vulnerability. Feeding Champlain Valley works with farmers to source healthy foods and to preserve our farms and working landscapes. Great job, Anna!

Congratulations to our amazing team for once again being a Best Place to Work in Vermont.
Point in Time Count
Vermont and states around the country gather data on one night, usually in January, to assess the number of people experiencing homelessness. This night and process is called the Point in Time (PIT) Count, a federal mandate for continuums of care receiving HUD funding.
The Philanthropy and Communications team recently worked with Travis to create a video about the Count. Check it out — great job, Travis!
