Here is an excerpt:

Green Mountain Power is looking to get more Vermonters connected with new solar projects around the state. Using federal dollars from the Inflation Reduction Act, low and moderate-income residents will be eligible for the Shared Solar Program.

Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity, CVOEO, will help connect customers with the programs as part of their Green Saving Smart personal financial literacy coaching.

“So, we really hope to be a connector and seeing what Green Mountain Power is doing in the solar program,” said Rachel Goldstein of CVOEO. “It’s just another step closer to helping people make choices. And our role is to help them know that it's available to them.”
