MBDP Supporters

MBDP would like to thank:

Vermont State Employees Credit Union (VSECU)

The VSECU generously donated funds to the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity’s (CVOEO) Growing Money Financial Education Program.

Chittenden Bank

Chittenden Bank contributed funds to help with costs related to the second annual Downtown Holiday Market, held on December 15, 2007. Those funds allowed us to provide scholarships to 8 very low income enterprises. Thank you Chittenden Bank!

City of Burlington Community & Economic Development Office (CEDO)

This year’s Downtown Holiday Market could not have happened without a generous contribution from CEDO, and hands on assistance from CEDO staff. CEDO is an important advocate for microenterprise development in the Burlington area and we are grateful to be able to partner with them.

Vermont Women's Fund

We sincerely thank the Vermont Women's Fund for a grant award that allows us to provide women-focused services, including financial education classes, a women's saving support group, and the Women's Banker Forum.

Vermont Community Foundation

Thanks to a grant from the VCF, MBDP is offering intensified assistance to clients in the area of marketing their businesses. This pilot aims to help clients increase income.

Heather Cruickshank, Brank President of Merchants Bank on College St. in Burlington

We want to appreciate Heather for her ongoing volunteer work on behalf of Community Capital of Vermont, a non-profit micro-lender often used by MBDP clients to fund their businesses.
