financing of housing under
federal, state and local laws.

What should I do if it happens to me?

If you think you have experienced discrimination, don't sit back and do nothing. Take action! If a person believes s/he has been discriminated against, s/he should contact someone on the list below. If a person is in an housing emergency situation, a landlord can be sued to keep the apartment available until the matter is decided in court. In court, a person could win the right to an apartment, money damages, and attorney's fees.
