Head Start
provides comprehensive, family-centered services for parents and children, with resources and referrals in the areas of health, nutrition and other social services

 

Who is Eligible?

  • Children during the two years prior to starting kindergarten (generally ages “almost three” to “almost five” years old).
  • Families who meet certain income-eligibility guidelines.
  • Families who receive SSI, ANFC, Reach-up, TANF, childcare subsidy or other state benefits.
  • Families with foster children are automatically eligible.

(Please note that Head Start can enroll a limited number of families that exceed our income guidelines, so please apply to see if your family is eligible.)
