During the summer, Hot Meals also runs its Brown Bag Lunch Program. From June through August, an average of 37 brown bag lunches are distributed each afternoon in an effort to provide for children unable to receive the benefits of school lunch programs. Homeless individuals and families, organizations serving youth groups, and clients working and unable to provide their own lunches also benefit from the program.
